The Models, Katja Schulze and Lovis Maczeizik, are ready after a short trial of the clothes and makeup set by Saskia Müller, when we are sitting in the car at our way to Wafenhallen in Stuttgart, which is going to be our location for shooting of today.

The inspiration for this collection has Franziska got from her exchange and traveling in México. Furthermore does her inspiration and title for her collection come from the essay “El Laberinto de la solidad” by the Mexican writer Octavio Paz and where first published in 1950. The essay is explaining the Mexican’s with the perspective on death, fiesta and identity.

The clouds are coming

The sky is dark blue to nearly black and the ground is a bit muddy and dark because of the water, since it where heavily raining only an hour before, which is just perfect to give the atmosphere which the German designer Franziska and I wants, when we are getting ready at the first location with the first outfit - but when that is said do we both hope that it will not start raining since we have planed to do all the shootings outdoor.

Wafenhallen is today a creative space where different designers and artist are making their art, which gives a special atmosphere to the area and scenery.

Katja Schulze and Lovis Maczeizik are getting ready in a dome made out of steel when the first small rain drops are starting to fall... In just seconds are the drops becoming bigger and bigger so before we are starting shooting at this location are we moving to another where they can be standing in a shadow of a roof when Franziska is holding an umbrellas over her and me and the mother of Lovis is holding it over the flash so it aren't getting wet.

The models are doing great so it doesn't take long before we are having a perfect shot, so we can continue to the location at the dome where we wanted to start since the sun now is breaking through the clouds. Katja Schulze and Lovis Maczeizik and the stylist, Saskia Müller, are going to be busy today since we are going to shoot 11 different outfits.

Suddenly is it starting to rain again and this time heavily from the beginning, while they are changing to another outfit, so we are all jumping into the cars and waiting until it is going to stop. - Which is first are doing 30 minutes later, when the sun is getting though with blue skies, so we can continue the photo shoot.

Fortunately aren't the rain stopping us more this Saturday afternoon, so after small 4.5 hours photographing are we done. Everybody did a great job so it went smooth and when Franziska and I are sitting in her car back to Reutlingen are we both having the right filling of the output of the day.
